There are two questions every leader should ask from time to time: How much is enough? and What am I willing to give?
The first question challenges our perspective. It’s easy to keep chasing the next title, the next achievement, or the next milestone without ever stopping to appreciate what we’ve already been blessed with. Gratitude keeps ambition in the right place.
The second question reveals our heart. Great leadership has never been measured by what we accumulate, but by what we’re willing to invest in others. Our time. Our encouragement. Our wisdom. Our service. The leaders who leave the greatest legacy are the ones who give more than they take.
When gratitude and generosity come together, leadership becomes less about personal success and more about lasting significance.
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” — Acts 20:35 (NIV)
Today’s Challenge: Ask yourself these two questions today: How much is enough? and What am I willing to give? Then choose one intentional act of generosity; whether it’s your time, your attention, your encouragement, or your expertise. The legacy you leave will never be defined by what you kept, but by what you gave.
